Huston High Desert Excavation constructs various types of rock walls. Dry stack rockery walls are the oldest form of proven erosion-control retaining wall constructed over thousands of years. They add natural beauty to your home, office, community, and highway landscaping. Huston’s rockery walls are built from natural rock found in your local area without the use of mortar, concrete, or steel, and they are engineer-approved by local building, county, state & federal agencies.
Huston uses excavators with grapple attachments to rotate and place rocks into tight fitting, stacked-wall placements. Our rock wall installers are craftsmen in their trade and have an eye for shaping and trimming natural rock to fit in place to create an everlasting and durable rock wall. We construct walls in a wide range of heights, and shapes from two-foot-tall landscape walls to twelve-foot tall, engineered retaining walls.
